We understand the concern. Here's exactly what Keel can and can't see.

What Keel reads: Course metadata, enrollment counts, user roles, and term information — the same data you see in the Canvas admin console. Keel reads it from the pages you're already viewing and presents it in a more useful format.

What Keel cannot see: Student submission content, grades, financial data, or any personally identifiable information beyond what Canvas already shows in your admin view.

What Keel does not do: Keel does not include AI features. No data leaves your browser except to your Canvas domain. No API calls to Bridge & Harbor. No background data collection.
